Originally from Japan, Kyoko moved to Singapore in 2004. Kyoko has learned bellydance from well-known master teachers all over the world, including Yousry Sharif, Raqia Hassan, Dr. Mo Geddawi, Magdi El Leissy, Khaled Mahmoud, Mohmoud Reda, and more. She received certification of The Egyptian Intensive Teachers Course in 2007. Kyoko is not only a bellydance instructor but she is also currently one of the resident dancers at Kazbar, Lebanese restaurant at Orchard. She was also invited to conduct workshops and to give performances in Japan.

About Kyoko's Classes

Beginners: A foundation course to learn the basic movements, Middle Eastern rhythm, as well as simple and basic steps. A simple choreography will also be taught in this class.

Intermediate: A developing course to challenge with more complicated movements, combinations, and layering.
Asaya (cane), Sagat (Finger cymbal), and other props may be required for this level. Students will learn a variety of choreographies.

Advance: An intensive performing course to learn stage presentation, improvisation and a creationg of your own style.
