The Principal of L'Academie De Danse is the very talented Maud Toledano. Maud Toledano has been immersed in her passion for dance for the past 25 years. She is a Dancer, Teacher, International Professor and Choreographer.
She studied at the CNR In Nice from 1988 - 1990 where she obtained her diploma with flying colors in 1990.
In 1992 she joined the Yvonne Goube International Dance Center where she obtained her state diploma as a Professor of Classical Dance in 1993. She studied with professors such as Roland Duflot, Atillio Labis, Robert Denvers. From 1993 - 1997 she perfected her training alongside Wayne Byars and Rafael Reyes, Ballet Master from the Cuba National Ballet.
From 1993 - 1995 she was a dancer and assistant to Sylvie Maradai in the neoclassical company "Siecles du Monde" in Nice. Sylvie Maradai's very original work allowed Maud to benefit from working on classical dance in an environment which encouraged creative and artistic expression.
Soon, in 1995, she opened her own dance school "Studio Riviera" which trained young hopefuls. In order to allow them to express their passion and develop their artistic personality, Maud integrated these young talents into performances with professional artists from the Riviera Dance Company; which Maud created in 2002. The Company stunned Europe with its neoclassical creations accompanied by the Cologne New Philharmonic Orchestra. And, whilst living in Luxembourg in 2003, Maud contributed to the vitality of Choreographic Art in Luxembourg and started the Almavo Dance Company in 2004.
Now in Singapore, Maud is eager to share her love for dance. Those who have attended her class will attest to her knowledge, experience, and infectious energy!
